Configuration
The configuration area allows administrators to manage server-level settings such as licensing, authentication, security policies, session management, and server diagnostics.
Accessing configuration
Click the cogwheel icon in the top-right corner of the navigation bar. The configuration area provides a left sidebar organized into the following sections:
General
- Thumbprint — view the fDeploy Server certificate details
- License — manage your fDeploy license
Access Control
- Users — manage user accounts
- Teams — manage teams and role-based access control
- Access Tokens — create and manage personal access tokens for API authentication
Settings
- Authentication — configure directory (LDAP) and external OIDC authentication
- Maintenance — enable maintenance mode to prevent non-administrators from making changes
- Session — configure session timeout and sliding expiration
- Security Policy — configure password requirements and account lockout
- SMTP — configure outgoing mail server for email deployment steps
Audit
- Audit Log — view a detailed log of all changes made within the system
Server
- Diagnostics — view server information, resource usage, and server logs
